As a visitor to Stratford from the south every few months, I'm always looking for great places to eat. Sitting Duck has never disappointed. Got the salmon last week and was blown away. Perfectly cooked. Spinach was absolutely excellent, as were the potatoes. Service was phenomenal. Craft beer selection was very good (I like higher ABV beers, so that might be the only knock I have, but it's not a big one). This kind of thing has been my experience every time. Couldn't possibly recommend this place highly enough. You'll love it.

Great atmosphere inside the bar! Real brick walls - none of that nonsense fake brick sheets or even those cheap 1/8 slice of a brick - legit brick walls inside! Food was great and so was the service

Great decor and atmosphere. Not a huge alcohol selection but what they did have was good and representative of the CT craft beer scene. Good service and food too.

Overview: Sitting Duck is a great restaurant with an interesting menu that is very fitting for the name. Nevertheless the food comes out amazing and has several classic dishes that are a staple to this place, like the beef tips. Food: - The food here is awesome, and with their specials that seem to rotate, you'll always be able to try something new that isn't normally on the menu. - I had one of the specials, which was a steak with a special sauce, gorgonzola, potatoes and spinach - cooked excellently and was delicious. - The beef tips are awesome and never let down, a go to if you aren't sure what to get! - The new substitute for the pub chips, Disco Duck, is awesome! Try it out, its a great dish for a family or numerous people! - Prices aren't bad at all for the portion sizes and the quality. Drinks: - The drink menu here is nice, with a great local selection of beers and local distilleries such as Litchfield Distillery. - Prices are above-average for the drinks, meaning better bang for the buck and since they're supporting local places, try out a new brew or whisky! Service: - Staff here is nice, and always check up on how things are. Not a bad thing about the service, timing, or accommodations. - Great effort on the team for handling going up and down stairs every time to serve numerous tables!

Located in Paradise Green in Stratford is this awesome little hot spot! Food selection is fantastic and has interesting variety! Drinks were great and poured generously. Great atmosphere, nice bar and bar seating for meals. Goat cheese salad was delicious - would definitely order again. Bang Bang shrimp appetizer was fantastic! Great special selections and seasonal drink specials too. We very much enjoyed and will come back.

I just checked it out for the first time after seeing their advertised Happy Hour on their window. Half off beer, wine, cocktails, discounted apps, and 99 cent wings with no minimum order. I had 8 of their tangy Carolina wings to start which were so good I ordered 6 more. I also had a blood orange mule which was good but I switched to a rum punch after. I do wish they had mint so they could do mojitos though. I also had their pierogi app which is on happy hour, definitely an elevated version of traditional pierogi with bacon and other things. I sat at the bar and the other patrons were very friendly, definitely gave neighborhood dive bar vibes. The bartenders were nice, I had 2 different bartenders (shift change I'm guessing) everything I ordered came fast and accurate. No complaints. Tldr if you're looking for a great value with warm neighborly vibes check out this place, especially during happy hour. I had 14 wings, 2 cocktails, and a pierogi app.

Super cozy, compact accommodations. Try seating farthest from the door as the winter draft can disrupt. Full bar, craft beer, selection of unique euro fare. Management and staff honor service. They work to make your night out special.

I love this Sitting Duck Tavern location. The food is great. The cooks have great energy and give it their best. The service is exceptional. The atmosphere is positive. This is the best sitting duck Tavern location in my humble opinion. I always get the caddilac burger with an extra patty. Always fresh ! Highly reccomend !
